What Is Sodium Hydroxide?

* Sodium Hydroxide Is A Chemical Compound That Holds And Maintain pH Of Skincare Products. (Also Known As Lye) Sodium Hydroxide Plays A Role In Maintaining Healthy Skin And It’s A Key Ingredient In Soap. During The Soap Making Process, The Lye Is Heavily Diluted With Water And Added To Oils To Create A Thick Mixture.  The Mixture Is Then Added To A Mold For 24 Hours To Harden And Set To Cure For 4-6 Weeks. During The Curing Process, The Soap Bars Lose Water Weight, In Which Sodium Hydroxide Is Dissolved. Therefore Lye Is Needed For The Process That Soap Goes Through.

 I Ordered Two Of The Same Soap Bar, Why Do They Look Different? 

* No Two Soap Bar Of The Same Scent Is Alike. Do To The Molding And Trimming Process It Will Be Shaped Different But Still Maintain 4.2-4.6 Ounces In Different Soaps. The Design Of The Swirls May Be Different From Each Bar Of Soap You Order As Well Because Of The Design Process. It Is Still The Same Beautiful Scent.
